Welcome to the pumpKIND patch, a patch with a twist!
With the events of 2020, OCB thought our community could use a “PUMPKIN PICK ME UP!”
This year we’ve pulled together a patch filled with positivity. As families join us to find their perfect pick, they can join in on some fun and activities. We are so excited to share with you how great the first year event has gone!

In the scavenger hunt there are little white pumpkins boasting messages of positivity and affirmations. Eight little messages were hiding in the field and once the hunt was completed, kids brought it back and earned a prize. It has been a JOY to share what some of the messages are about: kindness, smiling, and joy are just a few.

Amazing community leader’s also joined us at the Patch this year, each Thursday for Story Time.
City of Longwood Commissioner, Matt Morgan, Crossings Community Children’s Pastor, Katie Ferry and Amy Sweezey were on board for taking the time to read some of their favorite stories to little learner’s. Thank you for joining us!

It has been an absolute pleasure to meet new families, all over our immediate community and beyond! One family drove over an hour, each way, just meet us and learn about our Mission.
We rounded out the season with a great costume party on October 24. Special guest, Mr. Richard even made an appearance for a sing and dance session! It was great to jam out and have fun with all our new friends!

We want to sincerely give thanks to, Crossings Community Church for allowing OCB to use their grounds on this opening year! We feel it has been a great success and without CCC, it wouldn’t have been possible!
Thank you also to WalMart Community Grants for assisting us with some of the initial cost to get everything started. We appreciate your dedication to serving and giving back to local communities.
Special THANK YOU to Rebecca Shines Photography for coming out and capturing all these precious memories. We appreciate you!
Mr. Richard, thank you for providing the entertainment for the evening! It would not have been nearly as fun without you there.
Thank you to Randall and Trustco Bank for your sponsorship donations to assist OCB in making this patch successful, family friendly and affordable!
Lastly, thank you to Big Joe’s Home Service for creating our props and setting up.
We set a goal to raise $10,000 during the pumpKIND patch this year. All of the money earned will be used in the HOLLAND land fund. We can not wait to see what our final total will be. There is just one week left!
